Mary's New Stuff: December 2012

Shed Plans Online is my latest lens in the diy shed series. There are so many different types of designs available on the internet both free and otherwise that I just had to make some comments on them.

As of writing this it is the start of December and I suppose that the time for writing on this subject would be better around Spring and Summer but I have included it anyway as I am writing these articles for the long term and not just for now.

I've bought some woodworking and shed plans from ebay in the past but it was obviously someone had lumped together as many as they could find to make a saleable product for some fast cash. They were all over the place though. They obviously hadn't been checked as quite a lot of them were incomplete or just plain rubbish. I know that's the cheapest way to buy them but I really wouldn't recomment it. If you have made the decision to make your own shed the last thing you want is to be working from a bad set of plans and I'm afraid that encompasses a lot of the free stuff available on the internet.
